The Raspberry Pi Youtube upload server project has begun.
This small project is about being able to upload videos to youtube without the hassel of constantly monitoring the process. We’ve been doing it for quite some time, and didn’t think it was that big of a deal. By accident, we noticed a lot of other people had the same problem (but had not solved it). Regular uploads to youtube take a massive amount of time.
Through conversation (and other interaction) we discovered that many youtube content creators typically have upload times exceeding 6 hours per video. It is a huge issue for them, but many were keenly interested in our little side-project. After a lot of deliberation, mainly due to my workload we decided that this would be an easy project to put forward.
For obvious reasons, the ‘quad-monitor’ and the ‘partial augmented reality’ projects are just waiting for me to get the time.
